This has been a big week for the members of Phoenix Lodge #154. Not only did we host our first stated meeting in our home lodge since the damage, but we also held a public reconstitution of our lodge on August 16th. We’re glad to be back home, and we are eternally grateful to all the brothers who helped to rebuild.
Thank you to the Grand Lodge officers who led the reconstitution, especially our MW Grand Master, Bro. James Norton. It was a pleasure to witness you all perform the work.
It was an honor for our members and lodge officers to have the opportunity to participate in such a historic moment for our lodge. An event such as this doesn’t happen often, and it was such a wonderful time, especially in the company of our Masonic family.
We appreciate all the Masonic family members and guests of the public who attended the event, and extend a special thanks to Kathy Hayden, the mayor of Sumner, for joining us. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone support us by attending.
There are many thanks to go around, and it’d be impossible to list everyone in one post. All the brothers who helped rebuild, the people who supported us during, our brothers at Corinthian Lodge #38 for hosting us, and many more. Thank you to everyone.
We’re excited to begin the next chapter of Phoenix Lodge #154. We look forward to creating new memories in our refurbished lodge. We hope to see you all again at future events at our lodge and abroad.
