Phoenix Masonic Lodge is pleased to announce the results of the 2023 Outstanding Junior Scholarship program for the Sumner – Bonney Lake School District. This program annually accepts applications from Juniors at the two high schools in the District. The award is given to well rounded students based not only on academics, but also on activities in the school as well as in the community. The finalists represent outstanding young individuals who represent the future.
Among the finalists, six students receive a scholarship to be used for their college educations.

We celebrated these outstanding students in a ceremony held on May 3, 2023.
Also at the event, Phoenix Lodge donated a portrait of George Washington to the representatives to be hung in their respective schools. As a historic Freemason and a strong believer in public education, President Washington is a fitting symbol of Freemasonry’s commitment to supporting public education in our communities.
