On November 13, 2019, Phoenix Lodge was awarded the “Golden Apple” award by the Sumner-Bonney Lake School Board. This award is given to Community organizations for their support of the educational objectives in the district. The district cited several Lodge programs in support of the district.
- Bikes for Books which provides bicycles to all Elementary Schools in the Sumner-Bonney Lake and Orting School Districts. These bikes are used as rewards in support of reading programs in the schools.
- Middle School Library Programs provides a stipend to the libraries at all Middle Schools in the Sumner-Bonney Lake and Orting School Districts. These stipends are used to purchase books or other materials needed.
- Junior Scholarship Program provides Scholarships to College Bound Juniors at Sumner and Bonney Lake High Schools. In addition to the scholarships, this program allows Juniors an oppoutunity to practice scholarship application processes they will use in their Senior year.
- Career Pathways Scholarship provides Scholarships for Seniors who are pursuing additional training other than a traditional four year college program. The Scholarships can be used in a number of ways to assist them as they pursue their career goals.
